Curl Gala held June 6th was a success!

I am not very computer savvy and it has taken me a while to figure out how to make a new post. I'm glad I figured it out...I have so much I want to share!
First, I had my first Curl Gala here in Virginia. My boss Nordine was nice enough to let me have it at his salon. I have wonderful curly friends in the industry that sent nice products that made up the gift packages and raffle prizes. Thanks to Naturallycurly.com and Mop Top hair products!
Thanks to all those who attended, I think it was a great success and I look forward to doing it again! I was so fortunate to have this whole event documented by Jenny Schomaker the photographer for my book Strictly Curls. It was fun to work with her again she was a great help and the pictures turned out beautifully (as always)! I am happy to as that we also were able to raise $110 for Locks of Love! Thanks everyone for coming and helping to make this event so memorable! Enjoy the pictures!

Curl Gala!!!

For the last year I have been working on having a Curl Gala! This event will help educate those who are interested in learniing more about curly hair, going over looks in my book STrictly Curls and talking about curly hair products!

With help from some great curly friends I was able to put together a gift package that included products from Naturallycurly.com and my book Strictly Curls. Mop Top hair products were raffeled off
